yesterday was THE concert. that's right boys and girls, Slipknot, Fear Facotry, Chimeria and 40 Below Summer at the SOLD OUT orbit room. wow. what a kick ass show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there was hardly room to stand. it was hotter then a motherfucker in there but it was worth it.
It started out like it would suck because it was like 7:15 when we decided to go get in line...mind you door were supposed to open at 6:30. but they didnt seem to be letting people in. so we waited in the car til my boy's friend quinn showed up. then we said fuck it we'll stand in the rain. we walk up there..and I'm standing there not even a minute when a guard comes over and says, "there's a seperate ladies search line, you can go to the front" I was like HELLS YEAH!!! I go up, get felt up by this chick and go right to the door, id check, wrist band and I'm in!
then some dude asks me if I collect tickets. and wants to trade me mine for his. I was like fuck off. so I had to wait almost 10mins for my boy and his friend to get in there. since the boy:girl ratio of that concert was not even close to even.
40 Below Summer only played like 4 songs. but they rocked.
they had this lizard guy as host of the Jagger tour. by lizard I mean, tattooed and split tongue..you know..I'm sure you've seen the guy on TV. anyways, he's doing these "tricks" as entertainment. first he takes a fork and puts it up his nose. kinda gross but then he licks it!!!!!!! EWW! then he gets a drill and does the same thing! and THEN, as if there could be anything else he starts talking about who's gonna get some, safe sex use condoms thing. and he's got an open condom ...and he puts it through his mouth and out his nose!!! NASTY, and then he blows it up out his nose!! all I could say was WTF!!
then Chimeria plays. sorry if I spelled it wrong. they were good but I dont know their songs too well.
after that was Fear Factory. the rocked the house. so heavy and awesome!!
and last and the best was Slipknot!!!
they were in their masks and played all the good songs and a couple new ones. their new cd is out next month. it was so fucking tight!!! I loved it!!
I was rockin out, headbanding, singing..my ears are still ringing. haha. it was such a good night.
I saw a Marilyn Manson look-a-like. and I'm not kidding. hair was the same, make up the same. at first glance I could've sworn it WAS him. but this guys nose was different.
so it got me thinking....who else has been told they resemble someone famous??

Oh yeah, and some kid at my high school used to call me Kurt Cobain, but I think that was more about the way I dressed (lots of nirvana shirts). I hope he had a tragic injury.
