I've always secretly wondered whether people were predisposed to believing in spirits and God and resurrections. According to the bible, NO.I can't imagine any of it, really. I don't know what any of it would look like. I'm gonna go with yes, I think that stuff is too wacky to be made up. For what reason? The Jews wouldn't corner themselves by writing it, the ROmans had no reason to fan the flames of a coup or whatever, and the Essenes and Gnostics --as far as I know--- were too mystical to make something so dogmatic. I feel like I have no alternative, and that I do believe it. I'm still learning how to even take care of myself, let alone preach to somebody else, which isn't to say i'd back down if asked. I'm still me. i just think of it as a piece of knowledge--that allows me to take risks. One thing that tricked me, is that Christianity is not the death of things like sex, ambition, self-concern, etc... you actually nurture those things, it's just the end becomes more healthy. One thing that I personally love is that God doesn't dispense guilt... the bible says he doesn't have anything to do with it.
