undeserving

this is a pretty incoherent update. i tried out this new chinese place on farwell called Chopsitx tonight. i've had better, i've had worse, but they're open late and the portions are good size. i think one of the guys upstairs stole my bottle of bodacious berry hawian punch from our fridge. i noticed it missing tonight and i know two of them were down here about two weeks ago to steal some of my shit in a drunken stuppor. kari caught them and bitched them out on my behalf. i heard the commotion but was too incoherent with sleep deprivation to know/care what was happening. i'm going up there tommorow to see if there's evidence up there. yeah, it only cost me $1.00, but i'm still pissed. i went to see the soviettes, the epoxies, quest for fire, and against me! at the rave last night. the show was really good, but security was unnecessarily dick headish. mainly just one douche bag in particular. he was a rave employee, not a r.c.m. (the company they use for contracting meatheads) guy. i'm too tired to try and explain all 5 of the incidents with him that i saw, including one with annie from the soviettes. this was the first time in years that fat wreck chord bands were at the rave, and it will probably be the last. shock diode from the epoxies said that they were told there weren't any clear channel run joints on the tour, but i guess they were told wrong. roxy was asking about other venues in town for when they go back on tour this spring/summer. i'm hoping that they'll be coming though milwaukee early enough that i can do the show for them in the ballroom at the union, otherwise it'll probably be at mad planet. i actually talked to roxy for about half an hour about band shit, SG shit (she had an honorary membership and they played the 1 year anniversary party in portland), and shit. afterwards i decided to walk home. lately i've been on this "enjoy the weather while it lasts" kick. probably not the best decision i've ever made, but i took a walk that was 5.6 miles through downtown and spanned from 11:30 to 12:30. today i've done nothing really. stiched a new patch that i bought last night over the hole in the crotch of my pants cause the fabric i'd bought wasn't up to the task.
