well i just got back from my third calc midterm and it wasn't all too bad. of course the final is a week from monday so shit's going to happen fast. this means though that after next week monday i'll have all my math requrirements fufilled. 3 years and 6 semesters of calc come to an end in a week and a half. it's hardly really over with though because nearly every class i take from here on out is based on calc and assumes that you know how to do all the math from day one.
tomorrow is the last show of the semester at the 8th note with Gertie Fox, Anchorage, and The Kents. i'm excited because they're all really good bands. i just hope that people actually show up. all in all i think it was a pretty sucessful semester as far as booking goes. i sure as shit learned a lot about things so hopefully i can make next semester run a lot smoother. i kind of am afraid of next semester because the place just isn't fun to hang out in during the day. it's just become much more tamed down from what it was and i can only forsee it becoming more boring. regardless of how the day to day shit goes i'll still have the ability to make it crazy just about any night i want.
anyways, the weather is looking really good for this weekend. i realized yesterday that it being mother's day weekend means that it's aztalan weekend as well. this means racing friday night and all day sunday. on top of it i think i talked my dad into racing both days too so that means i don't have to spend money on gas. he doesn't get out to ride much so it would be really cool to see him out there both days.
aside from all that i still miss the shit out of meg and i still need a job for the summerl. if anyone out there has a mechanical engineering intern or co-op position to fill, i'm interested.
