well isn't this long overdue. i'm killing time right now before my calc discussion because i'm just simply not going to do the homework.
this last weekend was kind of up and down for me. shit started down on thurs day night when i talked to ashlie. she was said last weekend that she was going to come to the races with me friday night but told me thursday night that she couldn't because she was having people over. the discussion was pretty much downhill from there. (-)
i just realized something in typing this though; she'd mentioned getting into a fight with one of her guy friends because they had plans which he decided to cancel so he could do something else, but didn't tell her unill the last minute after she asked about it. i didn't realize until just now that she just did the exact same thing to me....well ain't that some shit. (-)
i will also add that there is simply no fucking excuse for a twenty year old guy to hit a sixteen year old girl. it makes no fucking difference if she hit him first.(-)
so anyways i went by myself friday night because i at least knew some folks who were going to be up there. it was windy as fuck and cold too boot, but other than that, not very exciting. i would just like to let it be known that a 25 mph cross wind makes jumping a motorcycle a much more involved process. (neither)
saturday morning i spent a total of $280.67 on parts for my truck to make it pass emissions. fortunately at least doing the work on it was the easy part. when i took it to get tested the guy never even tested it, he just verified that i fixed the shit and sent me on my merry way.(+)
saturday night was an all around good time. i put on a show last tuesday for the groovie ghoulies and i wanted to catch them one last time before they headed back west so i went up to their show in appleton/combined locks/little chute/greater fox river valley area. i actually knew a lot more people there than i thought i would, Distroyage, Brian_XVX,punkrockjeff, and a bunch of kids i know from school. went to perkins afterwards and continued with the good times. (+)
sunday i was hoping to make it out to road america for the CCS races cause i wanted to get out and watch my friend mark race for once, but alas i was undeniably low on cash from the previous few days so that was out. (-)
the ride back to school suday was makde much more enjoyable by the (finally) increasing temperatures and the fact that i had a very strong tail wind. (+)
meg actally initiated conversation with me last night (+) but it was to inform me that the two touring bands that i had on the show for saturday canceled (-). fortunately she's helping me find another band or two to help fill in (+).
in final tally for the weekend we have 5 pluses and 5 minuses which, in my book at least, still constitutes a quaility weekend.

yeah it was a great time up there on saturday. wish we had the time to go with you guys to perkins. turns out we ended up going to someone's house in oshkosh i think and drank a bit there before we headed back down to rockford,il. i finally made it in my house at 6am BOOO! hey dude, if you ever have openings for punk shows lemme know..mulligan stu could prolly play. anyways...was great meeting ya. chao
