im a little discouraged lately. it is getting so hard in this business.....I just want to be creative and make amazing records but for some reason all the bands decide to go to kids whose parent are loaded and can buy them expensive gear that they think makes a good recording.....when in all reality the record sounds like crap. im not saying im the best there is, but i know how to record a good band. and i have the credits to prove it. somebody please help me.

That way, with someone who's your financial backup, word of mouth will kick in once you start doing some good recordings. And people will then come to you for help.
