Here I've sat, bored as hell
Waiting for the home-time bell,
Had thought my Sins were all departed;
But it seems my penance is only started!

So raise some Hell, and raise a drink
And as you do so, please of me think,
The one who wastes his lonely hours,
'Midst idle dreams of Ivory Towers!

So now I come to end my Rhyme
I thank you all for your briefest time,
That you read the words that I have dreamed
I am ever yours, The Poetic Fiend!!
