It is rare to find that which is bigger than oneself so early in life. I am only twenty-five, three years out of university, two years removed from Peace Corps... I am still working two jobs, to get various loans (student, auto) and bills (credit card (1, total)) paid off. But, I know that which next to it, I am little more than a fleck of dander on a musk-ox's side.

There is: the Johnny V's Classic Cafe "King of Johnny V's". Ten (10) eggs, any style; eight (8) pancakes; three (3) sausage links; three (3) slices of bacon; one (1) slab Canadian bacon; a saucerful of hash-browns; two (2) slices Texas toast. The list-price, inclusive tax, is 16.88$. But, if consumed within an hour's time, without breaking for regurgitation, defecation, or any other trickery, the meal is free, and a tee-shirt (motto: "I conquered the 'King'") is received.

I have yet to receive my tee-shirt. I did try to beat the 'King' early this evening, but I failed. Did about 50% of the meal, and stopped.

Now, though, I have a goal for my life, for the next six months of it, anyway. (I doubt it will take me any longer than that to "conquer the 'King'", after which, I will need to find a new goal.)
