An utter lack of excitement.
Kids here are so lame, they bitch about no scene and no place to go but they don't try to make a place to go and when someone tries to get a place together they ruin it by being totaly out of control.
There is one cool bar here that has cool shows, i'm one of the 10 people who show up every week.
Just read a book about the LA punk scene in the 70s'-80's and it disheartened me to know that no one has that same kind of spirit anymore. It seems like the kids just want everything handed to them.
I guess it's pretty futile to try to start a decent band too.

Its is so sad to look back and see how tight the underground scene used to be. I feel lucky enough to have seen part of it in the 80's. It was so much fun. I definately don't take it for granted.
