She ended up telling me I had no reason to be depressed, or even have depression, cuz I wasn't dealing with stuff she deals with and that she should be the only one who was dealing with depression.

That's not conducive to your healing process. I'm sorry she said that to you. My best friend has said similar to me. That I don't have it as bad as him, and I should stop having pity parties for myself, suck it up. Or instead of being depressed why don't I do something about it...it's not that easy, that's why. Some people prefer all the attention on themselves, or maybe they're just being triggered by seeing the depression someone else has, makes them realize they're the same way.
