Well here we are. It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining and I'm going for a drive. Sunglasses on... windows down... sunroof open and the wind in my hair. I've got a little surprise for Kristy 
but if I drop it here then it wont be much of a surprise. I love teasers lol. Now all I need is music. Propper tunage can make or break a trip as you all know. I have to gather up some cd's for the trip to St. Kitts and here's my list (ordered only by the pile on the bed):
-Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Fever To Tell (Gawd I'm in love with her and the secret song at the end is a blast)
-Kings of Leon - Aha Sheake Heartbreak
-The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin (I could listen to this every day for the rest of my life and not get bored of this album... no word of a lie)
-Alexisonfire (proof a little screaming goes a long way)
-Matador at Fiften comp (the first disk has no bad songs)
-The Weakerthans - reconstruction site (haven't listened to this one in almost a year and am really looking forward dusting it off)
-The Trews - House of Ill Fame (see above)
-Helcat Records Presents... Give 'em the Boot (hell any comp that has Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, Transplants and Joe Strummer can't possibly be a bad choice)
-Cat Power - You Are Free (a modern classic)
and last but not least -
-Jackson 5 - the ultimate collection (cuz come on... you can't hate greatness just cuz he grew up to be really really really fucked up)
That's it... now I realize that it's only an hour drive to Kristy's and there is simply too much of this homemade soundtrack to waste. I may just be forced to take a few detours just to soak up this fantastic day.
One question... which (or all) of the seven deadly sins do you yourself suffer from? I'm not judging... I just want to findout how fucked I really-truely am on some sort of scale. lol
