FYI... BEE's valentines day set was amazing!
I hope everyone had a reasonable Valentines day... Mine despite some speed bumps turned out to be quite nice. I got my hair cut... spent a few hours in emergency... went for dinner... rented porn. You know, a typical Feb. 14th. My dearest Kristy got me this great shirt from daddy-o's . I found the website via SG's and loved their stuff! I really didn't have the cash to buy something so I was pretty happy when I unwrapped it. Thank you my darling!!! I got her a can opener. Sure, it wasn't very romantic but it was exactly what she wanted. She showed me and said "this is what you can get me for V-day. It was nice... white... opens cans... not much more to say really. I think she was happy with the gift. It can be pretty upsetting never being able to eat canned goods.
*** this next paragraph in retrospect is a bit whiney. Feel free to skip it if you'd like. I won't be offended. Really I won't.
I wonder from time to time if I should keep paying for SG's. This is why. I've been subscribing for a long time now. I actually gave my old subscription to Kristy and started up Uncool_Hipster. So in truth I've been a member here for almost 2 years. Kristy hasn't posted in over a month and she has 37 posts and 4 friend requests. I post once a week (for the most part) and I don't see very much traffic at all. It's not that I'm jealous or anything... that would be silly. It's just that I don't feel the sense of community. I'm feeling a bit invisible actually. That's all. Perhaps it's because I'm a guy. I'm not sure. I know it's stupid but I often voice my dumb little rants here. Perhaps that's why I'm still around. Everyone needs a place to vent.
As I said. Got a hair cut. I'm posting a pic so you can approve or dissaprove. You can also see I have a new profile pic. I wish I was in one of those recliners. Thats about it for me. Work's going well... slow for now but I try to make my own fun. Catch me in a couple months and ask me if I'm bored then. The hood on my Mini is comming loose. It's strange and upsetting and I have to deal with it this week. I hope that they don't give me too much trouble when I go to have it fixed. I also hope they'll give me a loaner for the day. I drive to work now and can't imagine commuting on the train.
There's another dull UH moment.

*hugs* glad you had a good v-day. whining is allowed, it's your journal after all. perhaps i should start posting multiple posts to your journal, then you'll have more posts.
