Friday I drank one (or two) too many sour apple Martini's at a work party. I was far too intoxicated to drive my Mini home... Poor sad Mini in that dark parking lot all by itself. I was far too drunk even to make my way to Chinatown in order to get some hot and sour soup to help me sober up... got a hotel room with my darling K.L. and the rest is pretty predictable. I was raped on the price of the hotel room. The Toronto film festival is this weekend and a downtown hotel room with a king sized bed was a bit costly. This is not important. Today I was thinking... I figure I've lost at least a week off my time here on earth due simply to the recent stress my work has caused me. Not fair. I hate my job (no surprise) but I love Shark Week on the discovery channel... I don't see a connection but any I'm missing could be thrown my way for a laugh or two.
