okay, so i'm feeling much better today. i slept in a long time today. my head doesn't feel like a vacuum at least and the pain and icky feeling have subsided. so yeah, i feel much better.

while i was sick i tried to get on here and write but my brain didn't want to work. like i said it felt like a vacuum, an empty space that absorbed everything but wouldn't let anything leave except the occasional moan and complaint. nothing was escaping this head of mine. and i was completely accident prone. i spilled endless glasses of ice water and the one time i sat at the computer to write you guys in earnest i spilled a glass of pop on my keyboard, shorting out the bottom row of keys.

after cleaning it all up i started to write...

so i gave up and went back to lay down.

in the meantime i have started two books.
confessions of a dangerous mind by chuck barris
and
lullaby by chuck palahniuk
yeah it's a chuck thing i guess.

confessions of a dangerous mind is hilarious. i never saw the film but the release date for the dvd is in september. i thought what the hell, i'll read the book first. i highly recommend it.

and lullaby is great but it's not what i expected palahniuk's voice to be like at all. having never read anything else by him except exerpts i didn't expect the book to read like it does. i like it and i can't wait to get a copy of choke which i put a hold on at the library. i love libraries.

okay so i guess i've made up for not being here all week with an extra long entry which i hope someone reads. hello? thanks for the well-wishing and all. now i think i'll go harass you in your journals. adios, amigos.
