i just realized dolorian added ME as a friend. i am definitely NOT fucking worthy. sure made my morning.

maybe someday i will actually get two pages of comments in my journals. it's something to shoot for. maybe if i could have all of you leave a bunch of short comments rather than just a long one. would that work? or is that just cheating?

i hate to hear how the weather is sucking back east. especially when it soared past 90 degrees here in portland yesterday. makes me feel bad for y'all back there.

oh and i've decided to work on my short story writing and actually submit some work. i used to spend a lot of time writing but haven't done it in over a decade and i never tried to get published. actually i'm thankful i didn't try and get that old garbage published. i'd just be embarassed now. although some of it was interesting i was just way too dramatic. i've always admired raymond carver. his shorts are always these small understated masterpieces. i'm not very subtle. i'm working on it though.
