Season's greetings.

Thanks for the encouragements to update more often.

My fingers get cold below 50 F, so I haven't been motivated in the last few weeks to conjure the magic moments reported in my October and November journal entries.

I also have a predisposition to self-censorship.

My central dilema is that I enjoy pretending far more than dealing with reality. It seems that everyone clamors for honesty and openess, and rails against dissemblance.

Dissembling, not being what I seem, seeming other than what I am, upsetting others expectations - these drive me, sometimes to brilliant creative breakthroughs, other times to self destructive impulses.

Be prepared, if you ever encounter me out there. Depending on the context, I may welcome you or shun you. It's not you, it's me. Do not fear me. Fearing me is my job, and I'm very good at it.
