Tonight I felt like the little "bee girl" in the Blind Melon video, where at the end of the video, she finds a bunch of people all dressed like bees, and she's dancing, and buzzing, and... happy to be a bee.
Ventured out with the SGSAC crew to celebrate Ramona's b-day. Met a lot of really good friendly people. Had an excellent time hanging out and dancing at the Press Club. The girls were lovely and charming, the guys personable and fun. I'm going to rate the evening a strong three pirates and two piggies.

i finally broke down and bought BF2 last week at Fry's... on sale for $35.
And so of course, today was upgrade day...
nice new 6800GT in the machine, along with another gig of ram... but still on dialup.
maybe i should break down and get a frigging cable modem or something?
still no DSL in the area.
