ok, the gig was called off. mainly because our lead vocalist needs to get her priorities straight. after heavily lecturing me last semester about time management and commitment to the band, she decides to tell us through her boyfriend, that she is too "sick" to practise, but she'll be well enough for the gig. thing is, she lives in the building we practise in (and were playing at). I dont, it costs me money to get there. her parents have her back financially. mine dont. i dont know about you other students (and i know there are a few of you here), but im perpetually broke. i dont have a lot of money to go around. i also have assignments to do, so time and money spent on the bus to learn that practise has been called off because she would rather spend time alone with her boyfriend? after lecturing me? i was pretty pissed off. and without blowing my own trumpet so to speak, i am a rather important part of our band (i play bass, and we play heavily bass-dependant songs). without me, we sound like shit.
anyway, off my ego trip.
but yeah, i buggered off, i thought fuck that, if she wants to spend time with her bpyfriend, i'll spend time finishing off some assignments. then i find out that even though we didnt practise, the gig was still on.
i told them to fuck off.
we are, however, still on at shadz on wednesday, god only knows what time though. this is so fucken unorganised, im about ready to throw the whole thing in and go a solo project.
really, really pissed off with her, and i told her so too. no reply yet. not sure wether that is a good or bad thing.
anyhoo, its now 11.47pm, and i have a 9am lecture to go to very soon. goodnight.

just passed one of my mates as i was walking from class to the computer lab, he gave me the heads up that our vocalist is after my head on a stick. i'm laying low

shes finally replied to my texts. i am a wanted man. and not in a good way. really laying low now lol. i have all the luck with the ladies lol.
