Alright, here it goes then...

Had Christmas back in sweet home Taranaki, and my old man finally let me drive the company car. Which probably wasnt such a good idea because I almost put us upside down in a river. But it was a sweet drive, and it was awesome seeing the whole family again. And the food. Oh god, the food. Living in a very cliche student flat at the moment, surviving (barely) on two-minute noodles and cold spagetti. Christmas Brunch - Bacon, eggs, crouissants (however it is spelt), muffins, more bacon, more eggs, and those little breakfast sausage things. Heaven. Christams dinner - every goddamn type of meat you can get. I think my nana robbed a butchery and cleaned them out.

Sweet jesus I ate a lot.

After lunch Dad gave me the keys and we went for a lazy drive around the mountain. If you're ever in The Naki and you have nothing to do, take a slow drive along Surf Highway 45 and stop off every time theres a big sign saying "Surf Beach". Trust me, its worth it. But the main point of our drive was to get petrol from the only BP station in Taranaki that was open Christmas day. Two and a half hours driving just to get gas lol.

The drive back home was slow and leisurely. I love dads car lol.

New years eve was spent extremely drunk and stoned. We went to our mates place, drank them dry, ate all their food, and I ended up writing a goddamned essay on their fridge with those little fridge magnet word things. It made very little sense, but then at that point in the evening so did I.

Scored myself a new job, now as well as being a part-time chef, a full-time university student and an over-time lazy bastard, I also pitch in at 95 BFM, the local university radio station up here. I can normally be heard between 1am and 7 am on friday mornings (thats New Zealand time obviously), on Darryls show (1-3 AM) or Darcy's show (3-7 AM). check out www.95bfm.com for more info. I'm not on the website yet, but I will be one day.

Through working for them, I ended up at the Big Day Out for free. So, if anybody was there in the morning, they may have seen me making a complete tool out of myself wearing a giant red latex "b" suit, handing out bumper stickers and being spear tackled repeatedly. That was until I went home at about lunchtime due to critical blood loss. Very nasty.

Other than that, I havent been up to too much, just work, work, work, sleep, eat occasionally, but not very often, work, work, sleep, work, and Uni starts up on the 27th. sweet.

Any questions?
