OK - In honor of thrashead's request I have decided to update my journal. Something I am absolutely terrible at doing. Where to start.... I finished off another term earlier in the month. Turned in thee grades for the class I taught at the local Community Collegee. Got a wild hair up by behind and decided to rent a car and drive to San Francisco for a couple of days because I absolutely hate it in Seattle. If you like it you can have it. I prefer Berkeley or SF and will be back soon. Had a blast as I always do down there. Went to see the Swinging Utters play at Slims. Saw a bunch of old friends which is kind of strange for me. There are a bunch of people I used to hang with who have not fared too well. That means that in order to see them I usually have to head down to Market Street and search them out. Somethning I am hesitant to do because I usually end up hearing or seeing a bunch of crap I don't want to really see or hear. But these folks are friends and mean a lot to me. I guess I just live with the hope that they might pull there head out of their asses and attempt to live a life that includes a warm place to shit. I know, I am one naive fool. So I did that. I had fun. I came home. In my haste to depart I forgot to have a neighbor feed my cat. Somehow the little bastard survived. He is tough as hell. I have no idea what he ate but it must have been enough to keep him alive and I am thankful I didn't close the bathroom door so he could at least get some water. Now for the rest. In the last week I have been hit (rear-ended) twice. Both times by a Ford Focus. Neither driver had insurance. So I have decided to take matters into my own hand. If I see anyone driving a Ford Focus anywhere near me I am going to hit them first and get it over with. My car looks like it survived a demolition derby so I could really give a rat's ass how they feel about it. I am going to cancel my damm insurance and let them worry about how they are going to fix their cars. I have driven for the last 18 years without an accident. Now in one week I have been hit twice. Wonder what the odds are of that happening?
