So, I plan on applying to be a hopeful within the next few weeks and I've started brainstorming for my first set! But I'm not quite sure of how to find a photographer, as none of the staff photographers are as close to my area as I would have liked. Should I work with a hopeful photographer? How do I find one? Any tips? Recommendations?

I think you would make an excellent SG! If that is still you're plan, you should submit your application first and once you get your Hopeful status, apply for membership to the SG Hopefuls only group.  They've got a place to rant or compliment photographers and its a great place to start in your search for a professional photog.  You can also run a search for the Trusted photographer list in the Everything SG group for a list of tried and true photogs that are great but just haven't reached staff level yet!  Either way, I would do a bunch of research and look into the portfolios of anyone you're considering to make sure you'll be happy with the end result.  Good luck! I can't wait to see your first set.

Had such a good weekend! Very laid back few days. Caring for my plants, bought myself a few new journals (guilty pleasure), spent time with my lovely lady, and created my first tarot spread/layout! Moon in Aries isn't affecting me as badly as I thought it would this time around! How has your weekend been? Anything fun?

I've not been as active this past week and I apologize! However, my grandmother did pass this week. After beating cancer of the breasts and brain, we didn't think it would return. Life's a funny thing though and it returned in her spinal fluid. After caring for her for about a month, the universe saved her from her pain. Interesting point in my life right...

Has anyone else purchased The Numerology Bible written by Teresa Moorey? It perked my interest so I decided to give it a shot, but I've encountered different results than I've gotten in the past. I had really just trusted online calculators in the past and I've tried multiple and each one has told me that I have a life path 22, but with the math...

Has anyone else on here gone through counseling? What was your experience like?
I got back from my appointment not long ago and realized that not everyone sees a counselor let alone has an experience as wonderful as the one I've had. I guess I'm just really grateful for my counselor, I deeply adore and appreciate her and i was wondering if anyone else has...

Until my family decided to take my grandmother in during her last few months, I had really never encountered death. Yeah, I've had close friends and family die, but this is so so so much different. Caring for and tending to a woman who has beat cancer two times, only to have it return and kill her on its third occurrence it just heart wrenching....

those moments in like are hard lessons that we all carry for a long time. remember the person she was and not the prolong illness effects on the family. rejoice what she was to you as a person. we lost our mother in april of this year. the painful part will be all the up coming holidays and birthdays.
