Well, you can tell the difference between a low quality venue and a high quality venue. At the Excel place (UB40) my right ear was suffering after the concert. After the O2 (Kylie) both ears were suffering equally. And this morning they're nearly better, so if you must hurt your ears, do it at the O2 :p

One thing that has become part of the landscape at Kylie concerts is the amount of gay stuff. It's like my once every 18 month alloted time to meet with the gay community. I think, perhaps most if not all the men I saw there last night, were gay. And some of the women. I suddenly noticed this woman, on the way home, about 55, with her hands around another woman, on her arse. I mean, we all hug right, but you want to grope your partner, take that stuff in the bedroom... On the whole though it's pretty cool that Kylie has the whole gay thing, I mean, they make up a significant percentage of her fanbase, and she likes them. They cheer enthusiastically, and unlike men who are 'Men' (see football, agression, beer) they are usually dressed quite well and polite.

Kylie makes sure they are well taken care of, with lots of naked male dancer imagery on stage and sometimes men in skirts (on stage) and men dancing with men. I don't particularly mind it. At my first Kylie concert, Dec 31st 2006, it was kind of overwhelming when I realised everyone was gay. But a lot of the women are actually girls who like Kylie, and have come with their boyfriends, so that does even it out. I see it, as a factor of the Kylie experience. If all the gay men of London want to come and see Kylie, alright. They're not bad people. I'll just come along as well and watch.

Turned out it was good that I didn't offload that ticket. My seats were amazing, right near the front. Turns out block B1, is the first block of seats after the very first block, so about 30 rows from the stage. And Row A, is the first row. So there is this large space between block A and block B, for people to walk past. But during the songs we just stood up, took a step forward from our chairs, and danced the night away. The fact that there was nobody in the chair next to me, gave me and the

Ha ha yeah I do... I reckon that's to do with any number of things, such as:

* My devotion to the SG community
* A response to the tons of fan mail I get every month (None so far, but it's only the 27th... )
* The realization that if I didn't keep you guys updated, you'd do something drastic, like start watching soap operas

But, hand on my heart, I'd go for any of the following smile

* I'm unemployed (Only till this Friday, I hope :p)
* I went to text a friend about how huge the O2 arena is last night (see (one of my) previous blog(s)), and I texted my mom. She was the closest thing to a best friend on my phone. Not good...

Still, as a comp. sci it's good to keep my touch typing skills up to scratch smile
