So its that time of the year again and everybody is in festive spirits. I thought i'd blog a little and share my experiences during Christmas time with all of you beautiful people.
When I was growing up Christmas was always a big deal. As a little girl there was nothing that I loved more than the wonder that Christmas brought with it each year. It fascinated me how the trees would be decorated with brightly coloured baubles, tinsel and whatever macaroni creations I had made at school (haha) but my favorite was and still is all the beautiful lights. And of course yes I loved all the gifts.
In South Africa we have Christmas in one of the hottest months of the year so besides all the Christmas cheer there is also that amazing summer holiday buzz. Most days leading up to Christmas involve soaking up the sun, swimming, braaing (barbecue) and just relaxing. An added plus besides spending time with family, friends and loved ones is all the delicious food and treats and sweets that comes with Christmas time. Yumm!!!
This year we decided to decorate our tree with bicycle parts as myself and my partner both love cycling in every shape and size. I personally think that it is SICK.
