Busy, busy. Weekend before last, the girl and I went to Vegas for a friend's birthday. Stayed at the Wynn. It was awesome, but I'm not quite sure I agree with its 5-star rating. The European-style topless pool area was kind of sweet though. There was this ultra-hot little Asian number fawning all over some douchebag for hours. I at first wondered if she was a paid escort, but if so then she was a damn good actor. Anyway, also saw the sexual Cirque show, Zumanity. That was absolutely amazing, and even had audience participation! Only for the people in the more expensive seats, of course. Played the slots, lost $15. But I went to Vegas and DIDN'T get married, so I consider it a victory.
Last weekend I went to Louisville for my cousin's wedding. It was a bit of a rushed weekend, but I did show Loryn a few fun parts of Louisville, like the Irish Rover and the Mag Bar. Got involved in a drunken and sleepy threesome around 5am. I think the friend we did that with might actually be good for that sort of thing -- love the girl to death, but only as a friend, and she doesn't seem to want a relationship (plus she's 450 miles away).
This coming weekend, I've rented out a chalet in Gatlinburg. We'll be staying there with another couple I know, from Cinci. There will be lots of relaxing in the hot tub, chilling out, and a bit of hiking and whitewater rafting. I'm really hoping that it will help me to unwind from the rest of this travel. I'm also trying to make plans for Cozumel this summer, but I don't even want to think about that at the moment.
Oh, and my girlfriend's new manager is a complete dick. She asked off for this weekend a month ago. 2 other girls in her department asked off way after she did, but they both got it off, even though her manager knew that she was going to be out of town. Ever since he started working there she's hated her job though. So she's going to tell them, "Hey, I know I'm scheduled, but I already told you I'd be out of town, so I'm not coming in." If they fire her... well, maybe she'll be able to get a better job.
