Just finished half of my first cross country trip. Left San diego and drove through the Mojave Desert since Death Valley was closed down due to storm damage, or I would have had to drive another 10 hours to see it. I will put some pics in my folder. Then I stopped in Vegas for the night and visited my cousins. "Tangent" it still a little wierd when I am like 20 years younger than all my generation cousins, but then again my parents where 44 and 35 when I was born go figure. Didnt do much time on the strip just caught up with one of my cousins I had never really met before. A Problem when you have a huge immigrant family(Italian). Then saw the hover dam and it is pretty fucking cool. The visitors center was a huge pork barrel affair, I believe they spent 3 billion dollars on it. It was definetly pretty sweet to see, highly recommend it if you are in Vegas. Next stop crazy Mormon land of Green River, Utah. Just really wierd. Then I hit Arches national park, again amazing..its on highway 70 near Mesa Utah. Ok, enough journal crap for now...Dear Diary. Maybe I should go have a tea party with Polly Prissy Pants.
