The pictures didn't strike me as being photoshopped, but then I don't know much about photoshop. And there have been at least two documented murders of Iraqis by Americans, one by a soldier, the other by a private contractor employed by the CIA, so I wouldn't discount this behavior.

Hmm. What bothers me the most is the mock-outrage on the part of the President and his Gang. As if it had never occurred to them that such a thing would take place. I think it's pretty horrible, but at least you're a likable asshole.
