Slowly getting better at this blog thingy.
But been a few weeks and been back at work for a few weeks then home and had some time to enjoy myself.
This time I was working over in New Zealand. Just outside of Taupo. A small town on the north island which has a huge lake that is the crater of a volcano. Scientists still don't know how deep it is.
Been working with a group of Icelandic guys. Sometimes there is a language barrier, especially as I can talk very quick for them while I talk slang.
It's a tad cooler over there for me. I have a jacket on even during the day while the Icelandic guys are melting. But I'm used to warm summers not New Zealand summers.
There was plenty of fog in the mornings and where we are drilling is in a forestry which reminds me of the movie, "Ferngully." I enjoy working there. It's very relaxing and it's just what I need.

This time home I finally got my new car. Very happy about that as it's my first brand new from the dealer car. Don't have to worry about it breaking down for now.
Also headed off to Future music festival and got put in the drunk tank the night before.Which meant 3 hrs sleep before a festival. I survived but felt like death the day after the festival.
Finally getting myself into a good place.
