Picked up the new My Morning Jacket disc today. Those guys are onto something. They might not land every punch, but so far the album packs a mellow, poppy wallop. That's kind of an oxymoron. Let's just say they're genre benders. Keep up the good work, fellas.
Well, we're staying in Chicago. The costs of an MFA program in Boston simply outweigh the benefits. Hey, no reason to get upset. I'm still flying high in my favorite city. Midwest 4 life, dog.

I thought the second H&K was better than the first - better pacing, more consistent laughs, not as much down time. And I liked the way they referenced the first movie by sliding in a joke here and there.

I got accepted to the MFA in Screenwriting Program at Boston University! I didn't get accepted to Austin. Boo! I'm still waiting on USC, UCLA, Loyola Marymount and NYU. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
I'm working on a new script, too. It's spring and creativity is in the air. Take a walk outside.

This is the year that I've finally stuck to a New Year's Resolution: I started working out in January, and I've stayed on track. I figure by June I'll be able to lift parked cars. Big guns kick the hell outta you!
