Well, I'm in the midst of wedding planning. The big date is set for July 26. Gulp. Anyway, I'm really stoked for the wedding, which is at an art museum. On the other hand, the planning has been purgatory. Let's just say my mum isn't making it easy. Hopefully things will iron out soon.
I'm applying for MFA screenwriting programs. The first draft of my feature is almost done. Perhaps I'll find an appropriate venue to post some of it.
I'm also about to relive my childhood fantasy. I have two tickets to Van Halen. Yeah, Halen ain't Bob Dylan, Lou Reed or Bowie. And that's what drew me to them when I was five. Plus, my cousins were throwing up the devil horns and shoving 1984 down my throat. They'd call me in to do David Lee Roth imitations like flying kicks and baton twirls. I'm still convinced that David Lee Roth and a groupie from Peoria are my real parents. No offense, mom and dad.
