Damn! I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since I updated my journal. Bad Tyggy!
I would pull the excuse that I have been busy playing the DDO 10 day beta from my pre-order, which is true, but that's just a stupid excuse, sicne it really doesn't take long to write something here if I just sit down and let my fingers ramble a bit... (well, other than going back and making sure I didn't miss letters or words, since I seem to do that regularily...)
So I had to replace the door handles on my front and back door on friday and ended up replacing the deadbolts as well so they would all match up nice and pretty like... The back one had stripped the handle where it connected to the post that actually opened the door, so I had been using the very redneck method of jamming a screwdriver in to open the door to take the dog out. Then on friday as I was heading out to give a buddy of mine a lift the handle on the front door fell off in my hand... oh well, at least the new ones look good.
I have to admit, lately I have been feeling a bit down. Mostly because it's been a while since I've been in a healthy relationship.. In fact, looking back at my past relationships, I think the last really good one wasn't even a dating relationship, she and I were just friends, although I wanted it to be more, I just never worked up the courage to tell her... She's the one my dog is named after, as a reminded to myself to not be such a pansy the next time I find someone who I truly care about.
Of course, it would help if I was actually good at initiating the friendships/relationships.. Up to this point, I have usually made an ackward friendship at first, and then once I am comfortable with the person I become a major flirt... But my history shows I have usually had excelent skills at finding crazy girls.. I know at least some of that is because of the ADHD, so now that I am doing something about that, hopefully I can start making better choices... But, at least picking crazy girls has given me a few good stories..
