My poor dad..
The old guy was moving his snowblower into the back of his truck to take it up north and the ramp slipped, which caused him to slip and fall onto the snowblower... They think he might have broken a couple ribs. The X-Rays didn't show a clear break, but they were concerned about a couple of them.. (He said something about 8 and 9...?)
Just to top it off, he is supposed to be going in for surgery on his shoulder on the 19th, so this is going to be a rough month...
I just hope he's just getting all the trouble out of the way in the first month so the rest of the year can be smooth sailing...
And just to add to the 'interesting' factor, his father slipped the other day with some groceries and ended up with a big ole bruise.. Luckily he didn't do any worse damage.. Of course, gramps is a tough old bird..
