Good Night and Good Luck is an excellent jazz movie. It's also a cool documentary on what the news media was like before they were bought out by corporate conglomerates and got turned into paranoia machines. I often wonder what it would be like to turn on the television and find myself being educated about the world around me. It would have to be entertaining, of course. PBS educates, but who can listen without falling asleep? The History channel can be good, but history is easy--the US government wouldn't like their people learning too much about what it is they do outside of their own borders currently...

Excellent recommendation. I plan to see it over the holiday.
