Nothing like a three day weekend for way too much crap that isn't fun.
Oh, and I need to do a little venting as well.
Had to cancel meeting up with Evan & Jimmy due to a LVLT crisis. Seems the psycho they got to direct Loot totally rolled off his rocker on Sunday. Started a tyrade with his actors, fired his Stage Manager (who is a volunteer, btw, how do you fire someone who volunteered to spend time with your janky ass?) and, after I had to ask him to leave - he took most of the set, props & costumes and pretty much dared us to go on. So, of course, after a few wonderful people busted their ass - we did. Crisis averted, but it take forever to get the locks changed.
For the most part, Jolene & I just sat around the house this weekend working on our living room. We bought some furniture & Jolene put it together.
Had dinner with Heather following the Gala. It seems Joy actually thanked me & even Stephanie Ventura for our hard work through out the years....and here I thought she'd sold us out for a drunk blonde. Seems her present stage manager is having a little trouble with the way she is being treated and I haven't heard yet if she's going to quit, she's supposed to call me today & let me know if she's ok.
Tonight is our first read through for TMO & I'm excited that almost everyone has accepted their role - there is just one person who hasn't gotten back to us.
On to the venting...
It's been said to me that Deven supposedly misses me & having my friendship around. Well, call me crazy, as the person who stopped returning calls, emails & general messages, if that's the case....PICK UP A FUCKING PHONE. I'm so tired of people who piss me off sitting around a bit further down the road waxing poetic about how they miss me & making me out to be the asshole. Like, gee, thank you for forgiving me, but how about an apology before you start talking about me LIKE I'M THE ONE THAT WALKED AWAY FROM YOU TOTALLY UNPROVOKED.
And in other rants - I sure wish Jared would stop emailing me like we're the best of friends. I mean look fucker, YOU sort of broke up with ME. Therefore YOU don't need to speak to ME about anything (especially your move here with the new love of your life) especially when you blamed ME for the fact that you didn't have the balls to quit smoking pot & now are so happy that you have quit & cleaned up your life (let's not even get into the fact that I DON'T EVEN SMOKE POT YOU ASS. Well kudos, mother fucker - but if I'm the reason you couldn't clean up before, and things are so good now that you are clean - DON'T TALK TO ME A JOINT MIGHT FALL BETWEEN YOUR LIPS.
And that's about all that's bugging me.
