Well, this weekend was in keeping with the crazy pattern that is my life.
The doctors took my sister off life support Friday morning. She passed just before ten.
Dad still had me to out to West Virginia. He figures that it's good for me to go out and keep things as normal for me as possible. Since when has my life been normal?
The funeral is on Friday. Small service. Closed casket. I'll be in Minnesota. Again, Dad said it'd be wrong not to go. Flight was paid for anyway.
I'm not so much upset that she's gone as that my father has tried so hard to make her life into something. No matter what he did, she was still destined to screw her life up.
Now I'm driven even more to make something for myself. That's always been a big thing for me anyway. Not only for my dad, but for all the people who have worked hard and pushed for me to do well.
I'll stop rambling now.
