Sometimes life kinda sneaks up on ya.
Well, I reffed a game Monday night. Lord was it ever awful. It was the first time I used my new skates to work a game. Tits on a bull useless out there I tell ya! Basically I was too worried about falling and staying out of the play. Afterwards I felt pretty shitty about myself. So it was a huge surprise when I was sent an invite to a training camp for officials in Detroit. That'll be the last weekend in August. So my last weekend of freedom will be spent on bag skating and then vomiting. Yay me.
I also sent a letter to a college conference, looking for a job with them next season too.
All this hockey-related stuff doesn't have me getting my hopes up. I'm still an awful skater with no upper body. Atleast I have the haircut now.
There was some other news, but I can't remember. It'll come to me.

Hockey journals rule! Good luck with the Official's training camp! Maybe we'll see you on TV one day reffing an NHL game, or maybe a linesman. Dude, we gotta get a game together before you go!
