How come I'm in front of a computer when I should be working?
Oh, because I'm not working. I'm in the middle of day #4 of my corporate-mandated furlough. In total I get to take ten, with a possible extra five, days off without pay. It comes at a fairly good time for me, considering I sprained my ankle pretty bad this past weekend.
Never try to play soccer with a European five-year-old. I tried to plant my foot to punt the ball, but it went down a rabbit home in my buddy's backyard. So that's, that. At least I have time to recover.
And drink apparently.
Last night I went down to the Tower and watched Denis Leary's Rescue Me Comedy Tour. Five comedians, $40. Three hours of comedy. Not all that bad. No one, and I mean no one was around to go with me. Managed to get the tickets at 6 p.m. so it was short notice. Luckily a friend of mine lives near the theater, so he ditched the wife and kids and came over.
