It's Groundhog Day!
God, what a great movie. We watched it in my 11th grade theology class. Not sure exactly why. My teacher was a nutcase. He just found me on Myspace. I'll have to ask what educational value that had.
Anyway, boring game in Richmond tonight. Nothing real exciting at all. The referee got smoked in the back of the head with a puck, but luckily the helmet caught most of the brunt of the impact. Here he is standing next to me.

And I get to go back there on Friday. Unfortunately I won't be able to see any of the fabulous tourist spots in Richmond. The referee has to come back home that night.
I did, however, just found out I'm headed out to St. Louis for a road trip in March. Trying to work every building in the league before the season ends. Four down. Ten to go.

I finally saw all of Groundhog Day at Ray's house just before we broke up. I had seen bits and pieces before that but never the whole thing. I feel like a more complete person now that I've seen it. You know, one of those movies that everyone expects you have seen. The movie has a weird rep... like your theology teacher, many people read WAY too much into it.
Yeah, beer might not have been the best remedy, but I got to hang out with Joanna and I love her. So it was all okay.
