It is a blustery winter storm here in the Monterey Bay Area. Trees getting blown over. Power lines down. Traffic jams and accidents. If you wanted to risk your life and limb, you would try to drive up to the mountains to get in on the great skiing after this storm blows through. However, It is pretty certain that the CHP will close the major mountain passes.
This weather fits my mood perfectly today. Obama and Huckaby. Why can't this country even get close to electing a woman as president. I know that Obama would break the color barrier. That is great. But I really think a woman would be more rational, less impulsive, more peaceful. You know testosterone is not a lightweight hormone. They used to only use bodies containing testosterone to fight all the wars.
Maybe they should put warnings on the labels of bodies containing testosterone.

I'm annoyed that Hillary came third in Iowa, and fingers crossed New Hanpshire and Vermont will show her more support. I can't get my head around your political system at all. This caucus thing is most convoluted!
We just had a change of govt to the equivalent of your democrats after 12 long years. I wish it for you - and my vote is for Hillary (even if she has got Clinton baggage!)
My only fear is that the majority of americans are not ready for a woman president.
