I found out today that the diamond lanes, aka car-pool lanes, aka High Occupant Vehicle lanes, in the San Francisco Bay Area, are still in effect on a week day, even if the week day is a Holiday, like today. Doesn't that depress you?
Doesn't that make you want to go to your window and yell at the top of your lungs: "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

What will happen if you just drive in that lane.....proclaiming, "WE DO WHAT WE WANT!!!!!!"
Are the CHIPS out in full force?
Other drivers get pissed at you if you drive in that lane illegally, they will call the highway patrol on their cell phones. I think the fine is over $300.
Of course, in L.A. they just shoot you.
