This is my tribute to the women who were courtesans to the men of nobility during the Renaissance in Italy. These women were respected and accepted by the wives of these men. (Just think how much pressure they took off the wives.) They could just sit back and enjoy being rich, while their husbands' sexual and emotional needs were totally taken care of by the courtesans. I found this picture, which was just a small portion of a large painting of a courtly celebration during the early Renaissance. I honor all women who still provide for the sexual and emotional needs of the men and women of today. Everyone needs a little loving from time to time. What a great service to the world!
