I must really be into wasting my money...I bother to pay the membership price here but yet am not an active member...
Why [as if you care]? Because now in addition to my full-time job I now have a little p/t one too....YAY me for no sleep...
And why do I need to have two jobs? Cause [yay me <----sarcasm] I'm going back to Cruces, NM in apprx. 6 more weeks....
Las Cruces NM sucks b/c:
-No decent clubs w/o driving at least 45 minutes away.
-The people [bunch of pot smoking, collegiate frat/soror drunkin, hick, slutty, sheltered lil fucks]
-No decent stores w/o the 45 minute drive
-No Potbelly's, Ethiopian, Vietnamese, or other yummy foods (with the exception Thai] for about 4 months
-Did I mention that you have to drive everywhere just to do anything?
-No late nights out just roaming around the city
-Not enough people [movie theatres are only packed the opening night of a showing, after that it's empty]
-Not enough non-conforming [<-----that was me being nice] black folk....
-No Ghetto Safari's w/ T-Roy and Zo as tour guides to point out and ridicule the above stated people.
What sux most of all though is that because I now have to be a responsible young adult and it's ruining my summer: No goin to clubs on weeknights cause of early morning work hours...and no craziness on weekends [those are saved for rest]...plus I pay my bills, so it's not like I really have the extra money for anything...
Things I've missed out so far this summer:
VNV Nation Concert
Freaks United IV
Digable Planets Concert
2 Skinnee J's concert (well not quite yet but soon to happen)
SGDC events (which I was actually planning on attending but...)
Spending time with my lil neices and nephew and sis and bro
Spending more time w/ my lil cousin
Oh well I suppose I should conclude my lil rant about growing up, being responsible and feeling overworked...perhaps tomorrow I'll bitch some more tomorrow....
