The Rumours are True

So as some of you have heard or guessed I'm sure, I have decided my little SG expedition is over.

Its has been great part of my life for a little while but it no longer yields anything much for me more than that. the. I started I was blessed to have created many great relationships and creatives, and whilst I have loved a large part of what SG provide for me4, it is no longer the company I signed to be a part of. like all great business SG has had to grow to accommodate the market it belongs to and for me that has taken it away from the beautiful celebration of strange non traditional women and made it about profit. Now first off before I end to far down this rabbit hole let me highlight for all current models the positives.

1. I have had the honour of working with some exceptional humans

2. I would not have met my best friend without being a part of this community

3. SG was the stepping stone of my learning to embrace my sexuality and love my body for what it is

4. SG opened up many creative doors for me.

5. I have a new understanding of the whole world because of the exposure SG has provided me

Now to the negatives

and please note that this is my opinion and not gospel

1. I have watched many horrible women put down many other women over their appearance or there oddities, and have to in all honesty not been the nicest person to some women

2. I have seen photographers abuse their rights and put models into horrible positions my position images models weren't comfortable with,

3. this website makes stupid amounts of money off the hard work of young beautiful women who rarely see the benefits of their own dedication

4. this website I now believe is a breeding ground for self doubt and body shaming

5. The restrictions around what you can and cannot do seem to be dependant on completely biased opinions. I have seen sets that blatantly break rules in the guidelines given out be bought which I don't think is bad I just think have the rules of don't.

6. you will spend way way more money creating a set then you will ever be paid for; underwear, location photographer, transport sometimes accomodation, it all adds up

NOW my leaving Is not saying SG is a good or bad company. its me saying Ive gotten what I came for an now I'm onto a new chapter

Very sad to see you go, but I completely understand. Go forward, keep making the beautiful art that you make and enjoy yourself!!

It's insane to come across this and learn that you were never a SG. You have some of the most iconic sets ever made and really one of the most iconic figures of any woman on this site. Everything about your sets screamed Pink. I guess the higher ups would rather have you submitting your sets for free than pay you what you deserved. So many of your sets should have been SOTD, and you should have been a pillar of the SG community. There are a lot of times where I see a hopeful that has worked hard and doesn't get the recognition she rightfully earned, but this might be the most egregious case that I've ever seen. I know it's been many years and you'll never see this, but I hope someone else will read it and realize the importance of recognizing true talent and artistic ambition.
