holy HOT!

42 degrees in toronto today folks, and i had to serve people lunch on a patio all day. wheeeeeww!

im almost used to my oven-like apartment now.. it doesn't even really bother me. at least im outta the sun.

tomorrow = day off thank the goddess for that!

i think all days should be full of sunshine, breeze, pot and masterbation.

went out for brunch with miss kristy, ate amazing avocado on a bagette and lots of cinnimon coffee, purchased two new cds (LAL and Great Lake Swimmers) at the hipster candy store otherwise knowns as Soundscapes, bought mango, strawberries and peaches, took a long sweaty walk home.

then..

watched Chasing Amy, while drinking yummy unsweetened iced tea, in my underoos, on my patio, whilst smoking...

i just bought Iron and Wine - 'Woman King'.

i want to have that man's babies.

i wish that i could magically make my hair grow to any length i please, depending on my mood.

i also wish that my apartment wasn't an oven.

i also also wish that i had a cherry popsicle right now..

i escaped the city for the weekend and went to my parent's house in Hockley Valley.

this morning i sat in the grass with my dogs and watched my horses graze for 2 hours.



...and now im back, getting ready to study for an exam, going to serve people dinner in a few hours...

what's the point of this again?

although i do love it here right now, i don't think i'm a city girl at heart.

day off woot woot gonna buy some yummy food and cook it gonna finish my skirt gonna take a big walk gonna drink some good espresso gonna read the paper front to back

but first im gonna get out of my jammies
