i'm feelin' good today. i got a good & early start on my final paper yesterday, i got lots of glorious sleep last night, and today isn't even close to being as stinkin' hot as it has been recently.

i have my second last class today for the summer session, and to be honest i'll miss it. i usually HATE summer classes because UofT gives them to profs who don't have much lecture experience, or worse, to a PhD student with NO lecture experience at all. however this class was a pleasant surprise. The Prof, Dr. Archana Rampure, is a facinating person with really insightful things to say (and she really like me, which helps). It's a media literacy course focusing on issues relating to gender and sexulaity, and it's been really interesting. i've written two really good papers thus far, and this final one is due this coming thursday. i think i might even pull off an A in the class

AND THEN after i hand in the paper, i'm off to pick up the rental car, my roomie, and our crap, and off we go for the 18 hr drive to Nova Scotia! we're picking up my best friend and her partner Will on the way. it's going to be a blast for sure. i am stoked!
