today was awesome. my best friend is down from Queensland. Today, her and I went and got tattoos!
When we first went in, they couldnt see us for a couple hours, so we killed time in a record store, ferreting through their selection of music, before getting a couple of Victoria Frances posters next door.

Anyways, then we went back, and it was time for the tattoo's. Christine was up first- getting a cross with a rose in the centre of it on her back. It looks pretty damn awesome, and the pain factor wasnt too high for her- the girl's got a high pain threshold!

Then, i got one on my right arm just below the inside of the elbow. it says "Cedo Nulli" which is Latin for "yield to no one". It looks amazing- really does. I'm so happy with it. The tattooist took such good care of us- made us feel at ease, and made us laugh through the pain... plus, he was cute- we both agree on that!
