Well, my Daddi-o leaves to Iraq in September, about the same time I'm moving to El Paso. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this. I rarely get to see him anyway, so I won't miss him too much. But I think knowing that I'm UNABLE to see him will change things. I'm not too scared about him like dying or something. I told him that if anything came within 50 feet of him to "light it up". He agreed. I kinda get weird when people treat going to Iraq like a death sentence. The casualties of this war compared to others is minute. Plus, most of the people who are over there want to be there. Hmmm, but I'm sure if my hubby were to get shipped off I'd feel like everyone else and be scared shitless. The only good thing about going to Iraq (for anyone) is the amount of money you pull in....cha-ching!! Either way, I'd rather have my loved ones than all the money in the world. I'll just hope for the best for my Dad and everyone else over there...
