How did this happen, you ask? Its her. The one I call significant. Her cousin has stayed behind in Reno, and ultimately ended up in LA about a week ago. A change of scenery, maybe a lifestyle change. It happened to be anything but. Who'd of thought people would be doing coke in Southern California? Oh goodness. What. A. Suprise.
(No offense to you Califonians, its not supposed to be a stereotype - Just a statement about 20 year old kids with too much money and nothing better to do)
The truth is, we approached him about the Oregon prospect before leaving Connecticut. We really wanted a roommate, him remaining our favorite canidate being her family and all. But he failed to provide us with a prompt answer, so alone on the Oregon trail we ventured. And quite frankly its worked out just fine.
I'm skeptical. Really skeptical. My home is about to decrease in size and comfort level. Don't get me wrong, I love the kid to death... But his priorities can sometimes be askewed, and I'm certainly not one who goes for any type of bullshit. Her and I have been living comfortably together for over a year now, just the two of us. And I don't want anybody fucking with my boat! So I guess we'll see what happens. He may not even end up staying, but I 'spose I just needed somewhere to vent my insecurities.
On a different note, the anticipation is growing as I impatiently wait for a response...
The Senate is also voting on a Civil Unions bill in Oregon today. Go equal rights!
My mom left Reno to go to Alaska today. I'm kind of jealous.
Its beautiful today, and for some reason I'm sitting inside.

Hmm. That kind of living situation won't last peacefully for long. Just keep your cool and be fair and you'll all be friends in the end.
