I agree the Oregon coast kicks ass. I live 45 mins away from it so I ocassionally go for a drive to go for a walk on the coast in the middle of the night. Especially when I've got too much shit going on in my life.
Oh and good job quiting a job is tough especially when you are strapped for cash. Try getting a job with Tualatin Hills Park and Rec. They pay hella well and treat employees pretty well and currently they are looking for people to run their summer camps and maintenance staff. Plus a good percentage of their staff leaves after every summer because they go off to school. Good luck with it.

Time to give porbably the geekiest response ever. Life has it's ups and downs but the reason the bad times occur is because it is the local minimum of the time and related to the convolution sum of life.The Good and bad things in life least affect your life because they are so far in the past. These two conditions create a large downward slope for a small ammount of time.
To summarize that garbled crap above... Life has its ups and downs but the closer that events are the larger effect that they have on your attitude.
