Goddammit, everyone else was right. I now intend to go back to school.
My main concern is time. Given that my job is full-time and then some, and not all of the classes I need to take are at night, I need to work out some sort of shite that will let me ditch out for a few hours every week. Not to mention I still have plans to go to New York in a couple years, and would really like to get my community college intro stuff finished so I can transfer directly into a university up there and hopefully qualify for some delicious financial aid.
My chosen field of study: Biochemistry, or one of the other biomedical-based disciplines. The science is progressing by leaps and bounds (see the successful stem cell spine fix, or the MOTHERFUCKING AIDS VACCINE recently developed) and I really want to be a part of it. Hell, maybe I'll be that guy and become a doctor.
Amazing what wacky directions the human minds travels in. A couple years ago, I would have looked like this and openly mocked it.
