Here are my new years resolutions from 2006:

new years resolutions:

1. stop sleeping with people who dont like the clash as arguments during the post coital fag often offend.
-my boyfriend is pretty indifferent to the clash and I no longer smoke

2. stop sleeping with people who steal my lingerie for, purposes of evil, i think.
-but at least he doesn't steal and wear my panties.

3. get better and stay better. (please?)
-DONE!

4. stop thinking that itis a good idea to drink pink things with tequila in them.
-had a pink drink with tequila in it about 3 days ago. Fail.

5. stop pretending ive seen movies i have not in fact seen.
-I still do this but to be fair only with movies that I have read so extensively about that I might as well have seen them.

6. sell some crap on ebay and DO NOT buy anymore.
-Sold a whole shit ton of crap on ebay netting myself about 500 quid and uh...did buy some more

7. speak to some people and do not stop until you have made some actual friends. sitting in the house like a twat on your own is no longer acceptable.
-I have a boyfriend in my house now. Its like a friend wot you live with, never have to go out again. Check! (also, I have at least 3 Australia friends)

8. wear the clothes you like instead of grotty cords that are falling apart. people may think they are part of your butt!
-I think this was some kind of effort to get me to wear my nice girly things more often, sadly I am not allowed to do this now because I am a feminist. Oh WELL!

9. get a job. keep it.
-Done and Done!

10. start to play music and go to gigs again. (hooray!)
-Uhhhh, erm... would actually still really like to get to more gigs. there just aren't many in Canberra

Since my list from six years ago is not yet ticked off I suppose I can't make any new ones and will have to eat schnitzel all day instead.
